Crown Medical Practice is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all patients, staff and visitors.
We are committed to upholding the principles of the NHS England Sexual Safety Charter, launched in September 2023. As part of this, we take a zero‑tolerance approach to any unwanted, inappropriate or harmful sexual behaviour in our workplace.
Everyone working, training or receiving care within the NHS has the right to feel safe and supported.
We are committed to:
• Promoting a culture of openness, respect and accountability
• Clearly communicating expected standards of behaviour
• Providing safe, accessible ways to report concerns
• Ensuring all reports are taken seriously and acted upon promptly
• Supporting anyone affected by sexual harassment, abuse or misconduct
Sexual misconduct in any form is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
We continue to review and strengthen our policies, training and support systems to ensure our workplace remains safe for both staff and patients, in line with the NHS Sexual Safety Charter principles.
If you experience or witness behaviour that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please report this to a member of staff. Concerns can also be raised through our usual complaints process. All reports will be handled sensitively, treated seriously and investigated in line with our safeguarding responsibilities.
