  • Health Visitors and School Nurse

School Nurses and Health Visitors are qualified nurses or midwives who have completed extra training, including child development and health improvement, to become Specialist Community Public Health Nurses.
Health Visiting and School Nursing teams are here to support parents, carers and young people to be healthy. They provide advice and support right through from pregnancy up until a child is 19. All families will be offered a number of routine contacts, plus extra visits where needed.
